Travelling often involves paying for things more regularly than back home and especially when you are travelling in SEA then it will involve cash
With so many countries having so many currencies, ( suddenly European Union seems quite sensible🙄) it can be hard to control your money and keep track of things.
I decided that having too much cash can be risky at times and therefore to have a way of keeping control on this is not a bad idea.
So I have started using prepaid credit cards
There are many on the market but I have only listed the ones I have used and had dealings with.
MasterCard
Pockit- Award Winning MasterCard
I started with Pockit, which is by far the best as it has a very clever app that within a few minutes of using your card it will send you a message telling you how much you have spent and where.
Should this not be you then you can login to the app and block the card, move money and effectively keep a full history of your transactions while you are travelling.
Having an account can also allow you to have a couple of extra cards for friends of family (so if travelling as a group) can be useful
You just move the money from one to another when you need to
Load money and keep up to 5000 on at any one time and with a small allowance of 250 withdrawal each day it does help you control your finances better

U ACCOUNT
A Current Account for you
This also a good one, as this is actually a bank so it has the safety net of that as well as being able to use it
