Thailand they call the land of smiles and you can understand why. It has a beauty about it that will make you smile, but you will find so does everyone else.
I would recommend at least a week in Bangkok (BKK) the capital as there is really so much to see, that to rush it would be a shame.
Travel across the country and experience rural life in places like Khon Kaen and Ubon Ratchathani in the east or visit the temples and cultural history of both Chiang Mai and Thani.
Islands everywhere
So Popular ones like Koh Samui, Koh Chang and Phuket are okay, but try the smaller ones for a more relaxed pace of life. Koh Samed or Koh Lan down the coast from Bangkok can offer some amazing beaches without all the nightlife of the larger ones.
